(Eevee) To allow associate member Ella to substitute an 2 extra lumps per week for 4 weeks a month in lieu of associate fee payment to be approved as requested by labor czar and in leu of meeting for the month
eevee: ella wants to do more work around the house and in return would like not to pay a food. ella has a well proven track record of meeting expectations and i feel comfortable with her doing this.
dj: ella is a delightful and beautiful human being. not a zookeeper who is human.
david: the same question was asked 3 seasons back and its a nasco issue that we couldnt transfer labor for a fee
jessi: $80 is change when it comes to the entire rent we pay. it basically goes to food. $10 a lump. its eactly the same. labor or rent.
david: were setting a precedent
eevee: ellas initial agenda item was more encompassing but we changed it to just be ella. its from a proven track record. its an exception more than the rule
david: ellas character is not in my mind. i just worry about the fairness
bridgit: ella's meals are high tier stuff. is the labor worth equal to or more than the payment. is your labor really worth more than the fund
eevee: bridgit touched on what i was going to say. david wants to avoid it being the quality of the labor. we vote and decide if in the vote if that person meets those expectations.
david: it could make our associate system wonky. some people are going to say thats not fair. its not about ella its about
dj: if subsequent members could outperform, then they could try
eevee: we can share how our community had a discussion and then will know how our process looks. if we don't feel confident, we can say maybe not.
david: can we have associate members with no fees
bridgit: everybody likes ella. i appreciate your thinking about it david. dont forget this process is not permenant and its fluid. we could look at it again and say we need to not do this.
eevee: this is for the remainder of her contract

eevee: if we could decide between the more expensive one or creative materials. the expensive option
david: cheaper option always
eevee; it might be cheaper to do the more expensive option because we oculd get it reimbursed by energy savings and insurance
david: how would be justify this to maitenence
eevee: we are trying to improve the livability of the home

(David) officers not meeting the responsibilities of the office should be forced to abdicate their positions. as well, members of our community should be held accountable for regularly, not meeting thier contractually required labor. this is referring speicifically to doing thier labor late as well as not attenidng thier required two meeting per month.
David: we have officers that don't know how to do their officer positons. the root of the problem probably has to do with orientation. there are people who are just not here. i am thinking about our culture cordinator. tokyo hasnt fufilled. heart meetings have come up and its that persons job to do it. we have had offices where 2 people are in charge. i dont want to toss stones at a glass house. the steward is supposed to take over every job if someone isnt doing it. jessi was running like a chicken with her head cut off. people getting labor points for doing nothing. im asking for a meeting for a motion. im asking for a group discussion to be had. its not fair for it all to fall on the steward.

david: there is probaly not a motion im making. im asking for a community conversation. its not fair for the rest of us. if you don't know how to, we can figure it out
bailey: im interested in what anybody else has to say. it feels lecutry and weird
alice: this just sounds like something that happens at the house constantly. i do think that certain positons do need to be doing their job better. so long as they do the minimum of their job i dont give a shit
david: i dont think you alice the point im making. i saw eevee one day do so many jobs. 4 people not doing their jobs. this is not how its been in the past
eevee: i do a lot of extra labor that doesnt get done. the reason is usually occurs is because alcoholism. im close to the people who im doing those things for. i understand i may look exhausted but i wasnt. david you have been here when we had a skilled group of people. im willing to do extra things around the house. we also have to be understanding that out of 16 peple how many are oing to be specifically skilled. we are goign to have to do the best we can. there is only so much fault.

david: 2 meetings per month. olivia for example. i just got out of the role. i havent written anyone up. these things are contractually required
