CHEA Rep 1:
I think anything that's at the CHEA level is on the agenda, so nothing specific there.
CHEA Rep 2:
Culture Coordinator:
Food Planner:
Grounds Coordinator:
David from Green Corn project has delivered some soil/fertilizer and seeds and plants. we do need to trim some trees, which is blocking some sun. we can put starter plants in the ground. things are moving along, we'll get the fall harvest planted hopefully this week.
Kitchen Kaiser:
Owen has been driving the kitchen floor repair process, so thank you for that.
Shutting down the kitchen is not something I'm looking forward to, but it's probably worth having the discussion about what the temp kitchen will look like.
What comes to mind is cutting down on dishes using paper products, or having each person responsible for a single set of a plate, bowl, utensils, etc.
On the bright side I think this will likely reduce the amount of overall kitchen labor.
The biggest question is probably where and what we'll use to cook. During the last remodel, I believe part of the kitchen was still in use. If we're not able to do that, the adjacent dining room or maybe the garden of eden might be good options.
Please let me know what you think.
Justin

Labor Czar:
I'm going to finish up the schedule. we have to go to 6 lumps. sign up for officer positions. please vote–election ends Monday at 9 PM.
Maintenance Coordinator:
Getting a lot of things done for the house. We completed the mold assessment and the two key findings that came back was first, what we found did not meet the standard for remediation protocol, and the second thing was that we don't have any myotoxic mold that they found in the house. the complete report is up on Slack so everyone can read it. that's good news! there is a whole list of recommendations for maintenance that came out of this, like increasing our R-value throughout the house and help us be more energy efficient. they had a moisture sensor that they highlighted the issues there, specifically in the kitchen. check out Slack for more information on all of these. I have requests for quotes out for the kitchen remodel. As i'm going through the mold assessment, the previous complaints and stories are coming to my attention. in people's individual units in their rooms, there are concerns about mold in their rooms. please bring your concerns to me and i'll find a way to field those.

Steward:
Pet stuff–talking to Shane about getting everything that he needs to get his cats in here. I still do not have a fecal exam results from Pippin so we'll have to talk about that sometime.
Treasurer:
NP Rep:
Paul: There's not much to report. I've been onboarding. There's more about the quarterly meeting, which I did attend in late August. We talked about the financials and other issues. NASCO itself is doing alright. we sold a few houses recently. if we can keep doing what we're doing we'll be fine. in the play-by-play we're doing fine as CHEA. there's one set of coops that owes $400,000+ over the past several years. I'll link those things and minutes in the email. NASCO staff has been requesting a few small things, including the lease information–they want to know who's leasing with us because the folks that have their loans need that info. I'll get with Bailey on that. NP staff want access to the email list and maybe the slack, i'm not sure. NASCO Institute is coming up in November and we can get a discount or few if people want to go.
