Some places we need help: - Steward, treasurer, meeting chair, grounds coordinator, and bookkeeper are all currently open positions in need of being filled! - Dinner buddy duty clarification - there seem to have been lots of issues with this recently, especially with the ongoing kitchen renovation. Perhaps re-evaluating how this position is structured would be a good topic for future conversation. Labor accountability report for September is attached. Summary of relevant points: Name No Shows 60 Days Nudges Last 60 Days No Shows Last Month Alex 0 0 0 Bailey Star 0 1 0 CJ 3 0 2 Eevee 0 1 0 Jessi 3 0 1 Justin 2 1 1 Kyle 0 1 0 Olivia 3 1 0 Ryland 8 2 2 Shane 8 7 2 Tokyo 8 1 5 Will 0 1 0 Olivia, Ryland, and Shane - please get in contact with Kyle or Ella to arrange for your make up lumps or those will be converted to fines. No previously assessed fines Olivia, CJ, or Tokyo have been paid. Question: What do we do about Tokyo's labor? Assess fines retroactively? Just let it go? I think the question of "What to do when members leave with undone labor" needs to be addressed in a future meeting and a formal process created. Updated labor schedule for the week is attached. Please check your schedule. Thank you for contributing to the upkeep of our community. \\ **Maintenance Coordinator: ** \\ Oversight of the kitchen remodel. Speaking with David M about remodel. I have hard copies of mine, but no records of Eevee's time or Vic's time. Clean slate time. We are also missing some minutes completely and attendance, as well. \\ **Membership Coordinator: ** \\ Checking people out of their rooms. Do we have a schedule for Ryland? Alex: I think we should contact ryland Brigid: (calls Ryland) We're trying to reschedule your review for nonperformance of labor... Ryland only gets the schedule a week in advance. we should just schedule it. Jessi: I motion that we make Ryland's Membership Review for Non-Performance of Labor for Thursday, Oct 15th at 8:15 PM. David: SECOND 7-0-0 ===== Agenda Item 2 ===== (Brigid) Membership Review for Justin on Oct 14th Brigid: We're discussing the membership review: 3 folks signed for Justin's membership review, one of them isn't here anymore. Ultimately, this doesn't meet the qualifications of the membership review anymore. If the two current signers can find a third signer Justin: I'm the third signer. I want to clear my name Will: Whaaaaat? David: you've agreed to sign? Justin: unless someone else wants to Brigid: Justin is going to become a signer. is there a rule against being a signer on your own review? Jessi: no known rule David: I think we should ask if they have any problem with it first Justin: I would like to move forward with it. keep the date as is, if we can keep moving forward as is. Jessi: Brigid: my question is do we need to have Justin sign it. And we should make an announcement on business list David: I think Brigid should be the one to take the new copy (now signed) to Ryland and Alex ===== Agenda Item 3 ===== (David) Reschedule the Membership Review for Non-Performance of Labor for Shane David: Shane wasn't able to make it. Labor coordinators aren't here, either. I think our Labor coordinators should reach out to Shane and have them set up a time for Shane to attend this review. Brigid: can you also have them repost it in the right time? ===== Agenda Item 4 ===== (Justin) Treasurer Duties Justin: Basically split between Jessi, Ryland and Brigid right now David: so it's been absorbed. Justin: so I'm also curious who's checking the treasurer email? I guess I'll speak with Ryland Brigid: Ryland was given the Treasurer box. checks were given to me. Ryland still has the rest of the box. I don't think they're carrying out any duties, they just have the box. Justin: who among us thinks they can check on the email? David: Steward fills in the responsibilities that hold no office Jessi: Justin: Does anyone know if they're here? David: it was decided that David M should be holding all the things. Brigid: Justin: what has David M said about him taking on the duties? David: it's nothing about him saying anything. He has what's necessary. Justin: what portion of duties is he doing? David: we're going to get all physical objects that have to do with Treasurer office so that we can give it to David M. Justin: who is keeping an eye on the Treasurer email? Brigid: I'll text David M now. ADD 5 MINUTES PASSES Justin: email is #1 thing. also need to know who's paying the internet, etc. there's basic things that need to be done. Will: david's been paying the internet. I asked him if I should take it, he said no. Brigid: David was doing a lot of Eevee's job. He's doing some amount of it. He sees things, too. David: ops manager is the end because it's safe. Brigid: Ryland said I can come get the box. jUstin: sounds like David M is the one to talk to ===== Agenda Item 5 ===== (Brigid) Elect an Interim Steward Brigid: I motion that we elect Jessi as Interim Steward until elections are complete. DJ: second Justin: What's your intention of accepting the Steward position? If you're going to accept the nomination, then we probably don't need to have you be an interim. 5-0-1 MOTION PASSES <pagemod addagenda output_before> ===== Agenda Item @@itemnumber@@ ===== (@@Proposers@@) @@Proposal Text@@ </pagemod> ====== New business ====== CKG Edit meetings/2026-10-04.txt Last modified: 2026/10/05 02:32by jessimunn
