Agenda Items

Note: $ must be escaped by preceding with a \. Example: \$100

Agenda Item 1

(Bridgid) when is next labor holiday?

eevee seconds

bridgid: im curious when our next labor holiday will be. sounds fun. seems helpful

bailey: labor szar plans when it is. i dont think nicky knows when its due. we usually have it 2 times a year. labor szar sets date. ground, maitenence, and kitchen plan the tasks.

alex: its been about 6-7 months since last so prob now

Agenda Item 2

(Ella) Labor repot/ accountability - when will we get a report sent and/ or how can we improve the system to function - em

bailey: i can present an answer. whenever nicky became labor zar it was when rowan was moving out. they didnt have any time to show him how spreadsheets worked. cheng is going to show him how to do labor and keep our sheets cleaner. once one gets messed up, it messes up all the things. basically, nick didnt know how and cheng said he will help

bridgid: i feel like it extends past that. im confused about the purpose of this sheet. theres repeat offenders. in the rules, there are supposed to be things to happen. everyones doing their best but theres supposed to be accountability

bailey: stuff on sheet is supposed to become labor fines. its $10 a lump. if you miss labor, you can do makeup labor. if you dont do makeup labor by end of month, these would be sent out at end of month. if you get 6 no shows for 30 day period there is an automatic membership review

brigid: is that a continuiation of the labor zar thing and does that mean the stuff on that sheet doesnt get brought up in a meeting?

bailey: yes typically its the case. usually its a community meeting

david: if you have a labor holiday, there is a different standard (triple fine)

cheng: there are rules on the paper if you want to read it. its a little more complicated than no shows and nudge. you write someone up. by end of month, labor zar records all the write ups and come up with labor report at begining of each month. you can make up labor but if you dont they will become fines. how much you get fined is dependent on how severe. no call no show is triple time x3. this would be $60 fines. if you call and no show, its less severe. if person did labor but not whole thing, you can nudge them. 3 nudges become 1 no show. we keep track of that on the spreadsheeet and anyone of sasona should have access. it hasnt been updated since i left. labor zars before me and me have issued monthly reports and on the table here. there used to be more awareness. the house should get back to this for accountability which is part of our community agreement. i would love to get that back on track.

eevee: cheng isnt even going to live here and hes trying to fix this

New business

eevee: offering people watch ai video yayyyy

alex: get a library card there are so many resources beyond books
