 +**Brigid: **

 +1) cabinent discussion:
 +
+david: its the one thats painted to look like a cherry blossom tree. that needs to be removed so we can redo the floor underneath it. what do we do after that? there are things in there now and where do we put those things in the future. the cheapest option and most straigtforward would be to rip out cabinents or pay them (important line we cant break) and then we buy stainless steel to put that in its place. we have a plastic washable back to the wall ( no tile). we still have the sink and counter top. 2. ruth had the idea of replacing it with automotive rolling toolbox (deep one). then on top of that, you put a stainless steel top which may require fabrication. were talking about couple 100. some of those drawers are thinner so people wont be able to overload. thats been a problem in the past. 3. put cabinents back into place and make repairs to it needed and put counter top on top of that. the next order from expense is having someone make custom and solid wood cabinents. this is more expensive. waiting on rebid
 +
+kate: the lowes default cheapest cabinents are comprable to resturuant but the installation of cabnents is what is expensive. cabnints are expensive
 +
+eevee: im on board for steal tables. doing tubs like how we have for the dishes as low cost but we could make labels on outside of those.
 +
+corey: we could do combo thing where we have steal counter top and buy some tool chests for shelfs.
 +
+2) next week is heart meeting. i would like to lead a heart meeting and do improv meeting or we find missing pieces. if you have led a heart meeting.
 +
+**David:** we have no policies for people leaving their dishes with clips. it leads to a lot of people leaving dishes for 2-3 days.
 +
+Eevee: if every person is forced to have every roll at least once so everyone knows what repurcussions happens. we want people to be aware of what its like.
 +
+alex: i agree especially with dishes.
 +
+vic: what specifically would be best for poeple to try
 +
+eevee: have everyone hit every job thats not officer position - being able to
 +
+brigid: it helps people know whats expected of keeping that area clean. recently i started cleaning brightside living room and feel connected. ive done this before.
 +
+david: no thought about what to do for what to do for other people leaving things on purpose. i have seen folks put their dishes there. There are individuals that treat it as a hotel and its ok. what will the consequence be?
 +
+eevee: as for the cause, i have talked with some of those people and its not a fuck you. i feel like they genuinely would have done it but forgot.
 +
+david: under the kitchen kaiser, i think the policy should be handled by them because it falls on them.
 +
+corey: if people are leaving messes, it sounds like it could meet defintion of uncoperative behavior. dont forget about stuff you are supposed to clean up after yourself.
 +
+alex: put your rags in the rag bin its there
 +
+david: when living in SA, i did dishes to repay them for hospitiality. i would do it right then. maybe we get really good scrubbers.
 +
+bailey: we used to have a better sprayer.
 +
+**corey: what chea budget is looking like and if there are cocners. **
 +
+corey: 2 options difference is staff pay. nasco leases is going up to 940 per month. accounting is going to be higher but its not actually higher its just changing accountants. we guestimate inflation based on cpi. the estimated inflation is actually 3.3. main thing is how much we will increase operation managers. one would be below one would be above inflation rate - quarter below or above. other things we could stop funding: stopping sending people to nasco meeting. we just dont really advertise so no one has really gone. we could stop funding that. for ACBA dues: we have been a member with them and they put on events in town. at la rey, we have a table. next, yall do rent inc by percentage inc. its about 40 cents different
 +
+bailey: i noticed that when i put room sign up sheet that specific room is so under priced. its 30 sq feet bigger and $100 cheaper than mine. can we adjust or do we need to do it later.
 +
+corey: if yall can take current rent rates and then resplit it among the rooms - whatever metrics you all want to use. yall would need to be quick
 +
+david: attempting to do recalculation of peoples rents is a lot of admin expense.
 +
+corey: the worry i have is that is going to bog down any budget discussion.
 +
+baiely: when will we vote on house budget\\
+corey: 2nd or third week of may
 +
+david: convo have come up in house and i have witnessed convos going on for a decade. simply try to identify one or two rooms that are definitely over and under and wait a year and say maybe next year we reimagine it.
 +
 +brigid: who named out rooms?
 +
+corey: written in nawak for pre colonial
 +
+corey: does have any questions for what the board throws money at?
 +
+eevee: encouragng members to take advantage of it. acba is retaining health of co-ops. they post on their website.
 +
+brigid: matthias brought up the 2 day nasco institute and was talking about how cool it was. it seems like a good resource potentially. we might be able to co rent a bus. i got an email and it looks like they are in trouble.
 +
+corey: ill leave a copy of both of these print outs. this should be what the board will be voting on or if i notice a big discrepency.
 +
+eevee: with cpi thing being not as consistent as it should be, should we account 5%
 +
+corey: we do that already with contingencys. board goes for 7%. la rey did 10% and sasona did 3% . these numbers should always be above inflation at the very least. it was just that they didnt report it for one.
 +
+david: i believe the iran war is going to inc the cpi especially as we enter when my pay inc would take effect: july. i have some built up hours and willing to delete those in favor of the pay inc of a dollar. the price of fuel affects everything else. now that busy season is over, we can wipe that and can be saved by the co op
 +
+kate: we have already collected and apply it toward the budgeted amount for davids hours.
 +
+corey; i am not very interested in doing that to do predictive budgeting. its more cash on hand. we wont be able to factor in.
 +
+kate: board will vote and then house will vote
 +
+david: i had agenda sent out as virtual meeting whether it be at la rey or sasona. i already sent out agenda. ideally we would tell people before 7pm at night. i am going to take off.
 +
+corey: 24.75 an hor of 25 an hour. multiplying by curent inflation
 +
 +eevee: i feel like he
 +
 +corey: its 40 cents a room
 +
+brigid: the amount of helpfulness hes been in the past.
 +
+corey: bugets are for the position not the person
 +
+kate: we want something that is attractive
 +
+corey: we are deciding on cost of living of default cost of living. it feels a little weird. im sure the board would love it.
