I'm working on resolving the CODE BROWN by calling the environmental services that cleaned out the grease trap recently. I have materials in order to attempt to clean it out myself. it'll be a shit show but it'll be alright. Fay's room--Gilberto is coming back to work on that room to do some stuff in the bathroom and hallway and also he'll be working on the dark side door. Hopefully the AC guys will come this week to check the refrigerant levels. quick note that window units need to be cleaned regularly. the roof patching will also happen this week. we still need to get a roofer out to look at the holes. NP meeting happened yesterday and today. Thanks for getting the votes in--Paul has been sworn in to represent CHEA at NASCO. I was only able to attend a little bit. some had questions and concerns about our open membership policy, and I explained we CHEA said we had an open membership policy. Maggie (staff) said they hadn't really have a problem with open membership policy but have concerns. Paul is a proponent of the open membership policy and explained how it works. Dublin, a property in Chicago, is going to be rebooted. Rowan: what's regularly--weekly/monthly/every other month for the AC in the kitchen? David M: I noticed it was dirty on the outside, so we need to clean it regularly. Rowan: let's add it to the Kitchen Manager maintenance document.

+David: I ran into a problem personally--we have special needs on laundry sometime and it may be a bit much for the next person to do. sometimes I find that special things like most of the laundry needs to be hung up, but we want to take care of the people around us but maybe we could have some more awareness around this. keep in mind the next person may not have the best skill at laundry. we may depend too much upon other people to do their own laundry. it's not really a problem but it's a call-in to keep an eye on our own laundry. \\

+David M.: I think something y'all could consider is  sometimes too much. what could help would be to have a basket of easy to use timers that we can put in our pockets. people rely on their phones, I know, but timers could be considered to help with the laundry situation. \\

+Rowan: I like our laundry system. i'm not sure I understand our pile up thing. it feels like an equal exchange to me. when timers go off, I turn them off and sometimes don't remember I turned them off. it's frustrating when sometimes does the wrong instructions, it's NBD. when it gets taken out damp, that's more problematic for me. \\

I also agree with Rowan that I like the system. a lot of things in the co-op it's like camping so just taking care of things. if there are special instructions they should leave a note. I know i'm not going to hang up someone's delicates, i'll go get them instead. \\

+David: I think some of these are no-brainers. I think we all want to treat our people nicely and follow directions. I think i'd like people to be more conscious of when their laundry is going to be done. not everyone has time for that, but to depend on everyone all the time gums up the system. i'm not saying there's a wrong or right here, just calling for awareness. this affects a lot of stuff going on in our house, including MC and personal laundry. \\
